Weekly Verse and Song for Tonight Weeks 42 - 49

John 7:38English Standard Version (ESV)
38 Whoever believes in me, the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."
This verse comes from my sister tonight. As life continues it honestly feels a little better, as I continue to read and understand God's word it just becomes clear that this world is the world and that's all. Believing in Jesus as my mom does will flow life. The life we have here is not permanent about the living water of Jesus Christ is abundant and an eternity with Him is forever.
I love you mom. I'll be home...soon. Until then I will proclaim Jesus Christ.

Matthew 28:16-20
English Standard Version (ESV)
The Great Commission
16.Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17 And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
This week especially I've been speaking a lot on the Great Commission. As I speak on it I have a few friends that I realize are not truly understanding. Jesus gave us a command, this was what our highest calling. I think a lot since my mom left I constantly find myself wanting to lead others to Christ. The reason is the Great Commission even so I realize that we all pass from this life, and our time here must be to lead people to Christ which usher them into the new creation.
Mom I miss you everyday. I know that my place on Earth is to serve Jesus Christ. I love you Lord and I know you have given me and all Christians the meaning to life. Until I see you again mom I'll be fulfilling Jesus' command.
I love you mom. I will be home once my work given to me by Jesus is done. I love you Lord.

Isaiah 53:5English Standard Version (ESV)
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions;
he was crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,
and with his wounds we are healed.
Lots of ups and downs this week. Not a week or day goes by that I don't think of my mom. This particular week I need to talk to mom I need to share somethings that is bothering me. My mom is my best friend, I've said it many times. Sometimes just getting some advice and asking my mom, "mom what do you think of this" or "mom this person said this". My mom is ground control always available at home, always counting on advice, or even just hearing my mom say "Hi Bash" when my mom would answer the phone when I would call.
The truth is though I feel a lone, there was one who is greater than my mom, He looked down on this rock called Earth and said those are my people they and though they have broken my law they are mine and I must step in for them as a substitute and take the punishment for breaking my law that they deserve I must pay it.
Because of this my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is there. He knows the struggles I go through and understands.
My I love you so much and I miss you everyday. It is a joy knowing you are with Christ and without pain and knowing that He can know and understand the struggles I face.
I'l be home soon.

1 Corinthians 1:27English Standard Version (ESV) 27 But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong;
Lord I just thank you for your blessings. As this week goes on, I just have images of my mom in the casket. It's hard still it's not easy. My mom, was a foreigner in America, came here and a marriage that fell apart. Mom could have went back to India and took us kids (the 5 of us) back to India to have a village of people raise us as well as my mom's dad. But the Lord sent someone to my mom here in America and said your kids who were born here (4 which were) are citizens and will be better off here. So my mom instead of returning home to see her dad and family stayed here in America looked at her kids and said "for them I will stay and raise them" giving up mom's comfort of home, and this ultimately led to my mom never seeing her "father" here on Earth ever again. But my mom did it for me.
Mom who by every stretch could be looked at as being weak, but God used my mom here and my mom fulfilled mom's mission -raise her kids.
It is the image of Christ. The Lord Jesus stepped off his throne looked at the world and said though they are sinners, they are mine and I will save them. He came to be the sacrifice once and for all and redeemed us.
Mom I thank you for teaching me about Christ not only in words, but in your actions. I love you Jesus for many things, but the one that is dearest is that you looked at me and said I will offer myself for their salvation.
I love you mom, words cannot begin to show how much. I especially love you Lord.
I'll be home soon.

Week 46 November 12, 2014
Romans 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
We all suffer in this present world. We suffer lost of our jobs, money, homes, family, and life. The last being life the question is do we? The Apostle wrote "For I consider the sufferings of this present are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us" in Romans 8:18. The glory of Jesus revealed to us is so powerful that even the loss of anything even life is not even greater than the glory of Jesus Christ.
My mom suffered a lot in this life, but my mom though at times it was hard kept mom's focus on Jesus Christ. I'll never forget my mom watching Billy Graham crusade and stating something at the end how mom felt. Graham would always invite people to the front and to give their lives to Christ. The song that would always play is "Just As I Am" and my mom said "I feel like Heaven is coming down"
Mom you suffered here and I know it was hard, I know you kept your eyes on Christ just as Paul said "....the glory that is to be revealed to us" you realized this as you felt in Heaven, here and the sufferings of this life was nothing compared to Jesus' glory.
I love you mom. I love you Lord thank you Jesus for caring for each and everyone of us that we have the hope of glory with you.
I'll be home soon.

Luke 10:36-37
“Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?” The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.”
Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”
This is something that is playing in my head today. See I have a cousin in India on my mom's side and she said she fractured her leg and needs operation. Family wise no one wants to help besides my two sisters, the others pretty much believe she is not telling the truth. What I believe is that helping others is the right thing to do. Sometimes in life you have a choice and sometimes the easy choice is to turn your eyes and mind and pretty something isn't real. To me money means nothing you need it but the Bible says the "Love of money is the source of all evil". I definitely don't love it.
I think of my mom who came here and struggled with a fallen marriage, a foreigner who made it, not only did my mom make it, mom help make her kids by the grace of our Lord this includes me and the ones who chose not to help. My mom is so caring and cared for us, that mom had a choice, mom could of taken us to India where mom would have access to mom's dad and family to help raise us. We could of been just like my cousins in India "with a flip of a coin" as my sister pointed out.
The image of Christ rests on what God gave us in my mom. My mom forsake the comforts of home to raise mom's kids here in USA to be the people we are today because we would have no chance, my mom went to India once in 33 years but never saw mom's dad ever again here on Earth, for me, and mom took mom's final breaths here in the USA! Jesus forsake His heavenly realm and stepped onto this little rock called Earth and said these are my people and I will redeem them, for without me, they will have no chance and will perish, and He took His final breath,
I love you mom. I love you Lord thank you Jesus for caring for each and everyone of us that we have the hope of glory with you. I will make you proud Mom and Lord Jesus I will follow you for the rest of my life.
I will do my best to put others first.

Isaiah 61:1-3
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, Because the LORD has anointed me To bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to captives And freedom to prisoners; To proclaim the favorable year of the LORD And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.
It's upon us once again Thanksgiving. This is the Second Thanksgiving without my mom. I remember my mom asking me to get the Turkey and how my mom would carefully plan so I could get the Turkey on sale. I could also still hear my mom say "Turkey with all the trimmings".
Sometimes I think as we go through life we wonder how can we get through immense moments and times of complete chaos, anguish and sadness. The truth is I don't know well that is I don't know how one can without Jesus Christ. In the verse above the prophet Isaiah is seemingly describing a rendering of sadness and destruction with gladness and newness of life that results in the person being called "oaks of righteousness". I imagine a strong and powerful Oak made to stand tall. That's who followers of Christ are strong though they mourn they receive a garland instead of ashes...
Mom here's year 2 Thanksgiving without you here. I know in my heart that you live today ever more abundant ever more loving and ever more a live than ever before.
I love you mom and especially Lord I love you.

Ecclesiastes 3 : 1-8 (New International Version)
A Time for Everything
1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: 2 a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, 3 a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, 4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, 5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain, 6 a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, 7 a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, 8 a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.
These next 4 weeks we I would like to to site the Book of Ecclesiastes specifically Chapter 3.
This is the season of Advent the coming of our savior. This is a time when a lot of people are happy and cheerful they think upon Christmas they about the lights and the times with family and friends, the warm hot chocolate as they sit by a fire place, or as they sip some hot tea and look outside as the snow falls.
As I write I think mom you were here. The times that we are alive in this world the short times we have with each other is just that short. There is a period of time when we are alive and during those times we experience so much of what this world has to offer, we laugh and we cry we love and we hate. One day that time will be over, one day that period of time ends and then there is a time of silence our once voices and presence ceases to exist on this Earth. The ones who are left realize that time is precious here and they realize that what we as we walk on Earth can do with our time is to give. Give to others so that they can learn from us, cherish us, and love us. When that time is over, there will only be a time for memories.
Mom you taught me so well here on this Earth, now the time is for memories and to remember. By Jesus' precious blood mom your time is now in His presence. I know you are having a wonderful time. There will be a short time and I will see you again and I will see the Lord of all.
I love you mom and especially Lord I love you.
